The Cottage Montessori is a preschool and kindergarten school in Kitsap County. We are located off of Silverdale Way in Silverdale, WA. The school sits on an acre of private property owned by the head teacher, Mrs. Kay Gapp. The school is across from the beautiful walking trails of the Clear Creek Reserve, which is a wealth of nature for the students to enjoy and explore.
Mission Statement
The Cottage Montessori follows the Montessori Philosophy, which fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in its students. The classroom is prepared daily to meet all the needs of a child’s learning style, interest, and readiness to achieve personal academic excellence and become life-long learners who respect themselves, others, and their environment.
Summer School
The Cottage Montessori School offers a fun Summer school program that is open to any child of the appropriate age. You do not need to be enrolled at the Cottage to attend. You can sign up for a week or two, depending on your needs. This is a good way for your child to experience nature and use all the available Montessori works in the classroom to their delight and educational advancement.
